Start with the exact places you want to visit, not just ‘Lago Enriquillo’. The inland lake is different from Enriquillo town on the coast. First identify the right Enriquillo
Enriquillo on the Barahona–Pedernales coastal road and inland Lago Enriquillo are different destinations. Copying only ‘Enriquillo’ into a request leaves room for a costly misunderstanding. Use the full place name and explain whether you mean a town, a lake visit or a particular attraction.
The website’s ‘Lago Enriquillo / Duvergé’ zone is a broad planning label. It is not a precise entrance, boat departure point or confirmed itinerary. Duvergé and Jimaní are towns in the wider basin; naming either does not identify every lake visit.
Choose places, then build the itinerary
For the La Descubierta area, distinguish La Azufrada from Las Caritas de los Indios. Las Caritas is a heritage site with petroglyphs and lake views; it is not a substitute name for a boat departure. Tell the provider which place interests you rather than asking for a generic ‘lake tour’.
Use the table to describe the visit you want. These are planning questions, not a list of currently bookable services. Ask for the exact agreed road destination and current visitor access before accepting a proposal. Do not infer walking difficulty or accessibility from a photograph.

Keep road transport and boat visits separate

Confirm which parts are included in each quotation and what happens if the visit cannot proceed. A descriptive attraction page is not evidence of today’s boat departures, opening hours or wildlife sightings. Keep a road-only alternative as a request to discuss, not a guaranteed replacement.
Start from your hotel and name the final destination
Send your actual accommodation, date, group size, luggage and desired stops. Ask for a route assessment based on those places and current access. There is no single drive time that fits every journey described as ‘Pedernales to Lago Enriquillo’.
Decide whether this is a separate outing, a one-way journey or an additional stop during another transfer. List optional stops separately. Do not treat the lake or Hoyo de Pelempito as automatic stops on the coastal road, or assume a lake visit will fit before a flight.

Agree the return before setting off
Specify where you want to finish: the same hotel, another accommodation or a different destination. Ask whether the vehicle waits or a later collection is proposed, and confirm the actual collection place, local date and time, contact method and any waiting terms.
For onward air travel, give the real departure airport, flight number and flight date. A future CBJ journey still depends on confirmed flights, road access and an individually confirmed arrangement. An enquiry form does not establish an operating airport transfer.
Send an itinerary that can be checked
A useful request reads: our accommodation and date; passengers and luggage; the named places we would like to visit; whether a boat visit is requested separately; optional stops; and our final drop-off. Ask the reply to distinguish requested, quoted and confirmed items.
