Airport opening: what is confirmed
The new Cabo Rojo airport is being developed in Oviedo, Pedernales province. The Presidency’s report of 7 September 2026 gives February 2027 as the planned start of operations. This is a target, not a confirmed flight programme. Airport pickup arrangements and journey times must be checked once operations are confirmed.

Access and arrival
A road transfer to Eco del Mar does not include a boat excursion to Bahía de las Águilas. If your stay includes an excursion, arrange its meeting time and departure point separately with the lodge.
