Before accepting a transfer quote, check the exact journeys, currency, price basis, passengers, luggage, inclusions and conditions. Ask for missing details in writing. This website currently accepts advance enquiries, not confirmed CBJ bookings; the checklist explains how to assess a future proposal and does not publish a fare or confirm availability. [1]
Separate an enquiry, a quote and a confirmed booking
An enquiry describes what you would like to arrange. A quotation should state what is being offered, at what price and under which conditions. A confirmed booking requires the provider’s explicit acceptance of the agreed service; sending a form or receiving a message is not enough by itself.
Start by checking the current pricing status. This site’s advance interest list is free and non-binding. Do not treat that process as a reservation, a payment request or a promise that your journey can operate.
Check every journey, address and date
A proposal should identify the arrival airport and full hotel address, together with the travel date and flight details. For a return journey, provide the departure airport, return-flight date and flight number. Check the hotel pickup date and local time separately: they need not match the flight date, especially after midnight.
Use one line for each journey: arrival airport to Hotel A; Hotel A to Hotel B on a separate day, if requested; final hotel to departure airport. Check which lines are actually offered. A return price does not automatically include a hotel move or additional drop-offs.
Read the total, currency and price basis
Ask whether the amount is for the whole party or for each passenger, and whether it covers one direction or both. Identify the currency explicitly; an unexplained currency symbol does not settle what you will pay. Request a total for the described itinerary and an itemized explanation of anything charged separately.
Ask whether any taxes, airport or parking charges are included or excluded, and whether the proposal has an expiry date. These are questions to clarify, not assertions that a particular charge applies at CBJ. Compare proposals only when the route, party, vehicle requirements and inclusions match.
Match the offer to passengers, bags and equipment
Check the number of adults and children, the number and size of bags, and any stroller, child-seat, wheelchair or specialist-equipment requirements. A vehicle-class name alone does not confirm usable luggage space, boarding suitability or a particular vehicle model.
Ask the provider to state the arrangement it can actually supply for your group. If the group or equipment changes, request a revised assessment and quote rather than assuming the original price and capacity remain valid.

Clarify waiting, changes, cancellation and payment
Ask what happens if the flight changes, the group is late, an extra stop is requested or a journey is cancelled. Have any waiting allowance, additional charge, amendment deadline and cancellation or refund terms stated explicitly. Flight tracking does not by itself establish unlimited waiting or automatic rescheduling.
If a future proposal requests payment, clarify the amount, currency, due date, recipient and how payment and booking acceptance are acknowledged. Do not infer a deposit or refund policy from this checklist. The current advance-enquiry process does not take payment or establish future booking terms.
Send a clarification checklist before accepting
You can write: ‘Please confirm the journeys and addresses covered; dates and local pickup times; arrival and return flight numbers and dates; passengers, bags and equipment; vehicle arrangement; currency and total; inclusions and exclusions; waiting, change, cancellation and payment terms; and how you confirm the booking.’ Leave unresolved items marked ‘to be confirmed’ rather than guessing.
Keep the dated proposal and the provider’s answers together. An unpriced comparison template is: journey …; date …; address …; group and bags …; currency …; total …; included …; excluded …; terms …; confirmation status … . Until the relevant service and terms are explicitly confirmed, rely only on the existing advance-enquiry process.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the advance enquiry already a booking?
- No. The site’s current advance interest process is free and non-binding; it does not reserve a vehicle or confirm a CBJ fare.
- Does one amount always cover the whole group?
- No price basis should be assumed. Ask whether the amount is per person or per vehicle and what party size and journeys it covers.
- Does a round-trip quote include a hotel change?
- Only if the separate hotel-to-hotel journey is expressly included. Identify all journeys and request a clear price breakdown.
- Are waiting and refunds guaranteed?
- This checklist establishes neither. Request the provider’s applicable written terms before accepting a future proposal.
